Type: Full-Time Contractor

Salary: $18 – $20/hour USD

About the Role

We’re looking for a Data-Oriented Software Engineer with solid experience in .NET (C#) and modern data platforms like Snowflake. You’ll help build scalable backend systems and data-driven applications to support critical business processes and analytics in a data-intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and web applications
• Integrate systems with Snowflake and other cloud data platforms
• Design and implement clean, efficient, and testable code
• Build and consume RESTful APIs
• Optimize data pipelines and SQL queries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features
• Conduct code reviews and ensure engineering best practices
• Document technical solutions and contribute to process improvements
• Stay up to date with cloud and big data trends

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in software development
• Proficiency in .NET (C#) backend development
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Strong SQL and query optimization skills
• Experience with ETL tools (Estuary, OpenFlow, Apache NiFi, etc.)
• Comfortable with Git, CI/CD workflows, and debugging complex systems
• Solid understanding of secure software development
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic frontend skills: React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Exposure to Agile or Kanban methodologies
