We are seeking a Senior Application Developer experience to join our team for a new opportunity.
This role is REMOTE. Candidate must reside in the United States
What you get to do.
· Design, develop, and maintain custom applications within Microsoft Azure and M365 environments.
· Perform system engineering, integration, and deployment under the guidance of OCIO.
· Lead translation of business needs into technical solutions, including risk analysis and mitigation.
· Develop secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-native applications.
· Ensure compliance with ITA ITSM standards, cybersecurity policies, and governance frameworks.
· Oversee and manage software projects, including project planning, milestone tracking, and Agile development.
· Build and optimize Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
· Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize existing applications.
· Support quality assurance, testing, and deployment processes to enhance software reliability.
· Follow DevSecOps best practices, implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Required Skills.
· Minimum five (5) + years of experience developing and maintaining custom applications within Microsoft Azure and M365.
· Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
· Must be a U.S. citizen
· Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API Management.
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 development, including SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
· Skilled in software development languages, including C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and PowerShell.
· Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
· Knowledge of REST APIs, Graph API, and Azure Service Bus for enterprise-level integration.
· Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including RBAC, IAM, and secure coding principles.
· Experience working in Agile environments, using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Preferred Certifications:
· AZ-204 Microsoft Azure Developer Associate (Required)
· PL-400 Power Platform Developer Associate (Required)
· Additional certifications in Agile, DevSecOps, or cloud security are a plus.
