Project Manager - Industrial Design & Product Development
About Us
Plasticlab is a fast-paced industrial design agency based in Cádiz, Spain. We specialize in rapid iteration and end-to-end development of physical products—primarily consumer electronics, small appliances, and tech-forward accessories. Our projects span from idea to market launch in 6 months or less, for international e-commerce brands, tech startups, and funded entrepreneurs.
The Role
We’re looking for a sharp, organized and proactive Project Manager to help us streamline operations, improve delivery times, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across several projects (ranging from early prototyping to production-ready design). You will serve as the backbone of project execution, owning planning, timelines, communication, and accountability.
What You’ll Do
Own the project timeline: break down deliverables, set milestones, and drive team execution.
Track scope and manage changes: keep deliverables aligned with client expectations and budgets.
Coordinate our internal team (designers, engineers, freelancers) and external stakeholders (vendors, manufacturers).
Facilitate effective and timely communication—both internally and with clients.
Provide constructive, informed feedback to design and engineering teams to ensure deliverables meet project goals and quality standards.
Implement and refine systems: identify blockers, propose improvements, and help systematize workflows.
Use tools like Clickup, Miro, Google Drive, to organize and visualize progress.
Help prevent delivery delays and ensure high-quality results.
Who You Are
3+ years experience in project management within a creative, tech, or product development environment.
Solid understanding of design and prototyping workflows (hardware or industrial design experience is a big plus).
Fluent in English (Spanish is a strong plus).
Excellent communicator, both with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Able to work independently and juggle multiple projects across different stages.
Familiar with Agile or Lean methodologies.
Experience with remote teams and working asynchronously is a bonus.
Nice to Have
Background in industrial design, engineering, or product development.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and hardware development cycles.
Experience managing client relationships and navigating changing scopes.
What We Offer
Flexible work arrangement and hours.
A tight-knit, international team working on exciting product challenges.
The opportunity to shape how we scale, grow, and optimize as an agency.
Room to grow into a more strategic operations or leadership role.
