We are looking for an accomplished Product Manager to be a key contributor to the product team. Product Managers at PlanSource stand at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience, helping optimize how people choose, use and manage their benefits through AI-enabled, engaging experiences. They work with an empowered team mindset, partnering with engineers, designers, and business partners to drive revenue growth, efficiency and customer satisfaction. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial Product Managers who value moving quickly.
Responsibilities include:
- Is the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational vision, rally cry and goals.
- Understand PlanSource’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized as the best in the industry.
- Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, experiences, features and/or products using frameworks like opportunity-solution trees and design sprints.
- Integrate usability studies, research, client advisory board input and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction.
- Drive product development in an agile environment with teams of world-class engineers and designers, while valuing every team member and being a role model for PlanSource’s values.
- Partner with release management and operations stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption of features with minimal effort.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, Business Operations and Client Management to tell the value story of new features with each release.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics.
- Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
Necessary Strengths, Skills, and Competencies:
- 5+ years of Product Management or related industry experience.
- Experience working in the Health Benefits Administration industry.
- Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate with other groups (design, operations, commercial, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones.
- Experience delivering technical presentations.
- Experience in analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data.
- Experience in gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution.
- Experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-release execution.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product development, QA, and customer success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar software
- Experience working with cloud-based HR and Benefits software platforms
- Experience running Product Discovery using established frameworks to evaluate desirability, feasibility and viability.
