In this role, you will work across clinical trial operations, medical content generation, predictive analytics, and patient-focused digital health initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement machine learning and generative AI applications that improve efficiency, enhance data-driven decision-making, and support better outcomes for patients and healthcare stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions to optimize clinical trial operations, including patient recruitment, patient retention, real-time data monitoring, and automated data collection systems.
- Design and develop Generative AI applications for automated clinical documentation generation, including medical reports, clinical study reports, study protocols, and patient narratives.
- Contribute to the development of digital healthcare applications focused on medical and scientific tools, real-world evidence generation, and patient engagement solutions.
- Build predictive models and generative AI solutions using diverse healthcare datasets, including: Clinical trial data, Electronic health records (EHRs), Wearable device data, Patient-reported outcomes (PROs), Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) data and Phase IV and real-world studies
- Apply natural language processing (NLP) and Generative AI techniques for medical text analysis, interpretation, and content generation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, clinical experts, data scientists, and technology teams to identify opportunities and deliver impactful solutions.
- Ensure AI/ML solutions comply with regulatory requirements, data governance policies, and healthcare privacy standards.
- Support model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using cloud-based and MLOps best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation, validation activities, and knowledge sharing across teams.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Biostatistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, AI, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience applying AI/ML techniques to healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, or related healthcare datasets.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with modern machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Demonstrated experience with Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and related frameworks.
- Experience developing NLP and Generative AI solutions for medical or scientific text processing.
- Knowledge of digital healthcare tools and application development.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.
- Understanding of software development best practices, code version control, and MLOps deployment approaches.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing AI solutions within healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or clinical research environments.
- Knowledge of clinical development processes, regulatory requirements, and healthcare data privacy standards.
- Experience working with real-world evidence (RWE), HEOR datasets, or digital health technologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and modern data engineering practices.
