Job Summary
The Graphic Designer supports the Marketing team in implementing an integrated marketing plan for the organization, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and current and projected business objectives. This role works independently to achieve marketing team objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in the development, execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns. Collaborates with stakeholders to identify new creative opportunities. Identifies opportunities, trends and insights and make recommendations for optimization and new campaign development.
- Develops and maintains the Company’s branding standards. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to ensure that brand integrity is upheld.
- Co-manages external creative agencies, freelancers and vendors to produce additional creatives, ensuring projects are on-time, on-budget and on-scope.
- Assists in managing projects within the marketing team, monitoring performance, and taking action in support of the business plan and corporate goals.
- Assists Marketing leadership in establishing marketing plans and budget to achieve corporate strategic objects and initiatives.
- Leads creative design strategy of print, video and web content and collaborates with manager on related budgets and spends.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required.
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years marketing and design experience required.
- Marketing experience in the mortgage industry preferred.
Functional/Technical Skills
- Creativity and ability to develop concepts and themes with originality.
- Ability to manage and negotiate project plans and timeframes.
- High proficiency in all design aspects / proven design experience with strong portfolio
- Proven experience with developing and executing marketing campaigns.
- Ability and willingness to work hands-on and think creatively when obstacles arise.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to stay on deadline required.
- Ability to multitask and learn new things rapidly.
- Experience using the following software (or equivalents):
- InDesign
- Adobe Suite
- DreamWeaver
- Microsoft Office Suite
