Senior Full Stack AI Engineer

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer who treats AI as their primary development surface, not an occasional helper. This person writes, ships, and maintains production software every day with AI agents in the loop, and brings the senior judgment that decides what to build, how to architect it, and where the machine output needs a human hand.

This is not a prompt-only role, and it is not a traditional coding role. It sits exactly in between. You can hand a well-scoped problem to an AI agent, review the result with a critical eye, drop into the code manually when the situation calls for it, and ship something you would put your name on.

If you have already rewired your daily workflow around tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and agentic CLIs, and you move noticeably faster than you did two years ago without lowering your bar for quality, this role is for you.

What "AI as a daily driver" means here

• You live inside AI-augmented tooling for the majority of your build work, and you have opinions about your setup.
• You decompose features into agent-sized tasks with clear specifications, then orchestrate the work.
• You run agents in parallel, manage their context, and keep their output coherent across a real codebase.
• You treat code review of AI output as a first-class skill. You read every line before it merges.
• You know the failure modes: hallucinated APIs, silent logic errors, security gaps, confident nonsense. You catch them.
• You write code by hand without hesitation when that path is faster, safer, or simply correct.
• You build reusable assets (prompt libraries, custom skills, agent pipelines, internal tools) that compound the whole team's speed.

What you will do

• Design and ship production features across the stack using AI-augmented workflows, owning quality from first commit to live.
• Own the architecture and technical design for the systems you build. AI assists, but you are accountable.
• Review AI-generated and human-written code with equal rigor, holding the line on correctness, readability, security, and performance.
• Build, document, and share reusable AI workflows and internal tooling that raise the entire team's output, not just your own.
• Write and maintain tests. The speed AI gives us only counts if the software stays reliable.
• Debug across the stack, including reasoning clearly about code you did not personally type.
• Mentor engineers on effective and safe AI-augmented practices, and raise the team's collective fluency.
• Track a fast-moving toolscape and bring the best of it back to the team.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years building and shipping production software.
• Strong computer science fundamentals. AI amplifies good judgment, and it magnifies weak judgment just as quickly.
• Daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools inside a real production workflow. You can talk specifics.
• Fluency in a modern stack. For us that means TypeScript and React on the front end, Node and Python on the back end, and Postgres and Redis for data.
• Comfort with cloud and containers. We run on Azure with container-based deployments.
• Excellent code review, debugging, and refactoring skills.
• A genuine sense of ownership. You ship it, you watch it in production, you fix what breaks.

Nice to have

• Experience building agentic or LLM-powered products, including work with model APIs and the Model Context Protocol.
• Prompt engineering and agent orchestration well beyond casual use.
• DevOps and CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, infrastructure as code).
• Client-facing or consulting experience, and comfort presenting technical work to non-technical stakeholders.
• A track record of creating internal developer tooling or reusable skill libraries.
