Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Middle East’s foreign trade and cross‑border e‑commerce ecosystem, aligning with PingPong’s revenue goals.
  • Take on independent revenue KPIs together with the customer conversion team, and jointly take responsibility for the entire business lifecycle from customer acquisition, registration, activation, to retention.
  • Focus on the small customer segment, including small‑to‑medium businesses (SMBs), freelancers, and individual entrepreneurs – primarily through a customer self‑service business model, tailored to the diverse markets across the Middle East.
  • Flexibly acquire customers in bulk through various online and offline channels, including but not limited to influencer marketing, social media, affiliate programs, SEO & SEM, offline partnerships, and other channels relevant to the Middle East landscape.
  • Collaborate with the customer conversion, risk, and product operations teams to establish a support system (videos, documentation, Q&A, etc.) that enables customers to independently use cross‑border payment services.
  • Continuously adjust marketing, pricing, product, risk, and other related strategies through ongoing funnel analysis, market research, customer interviews, and competitor analysis – ensuring competitiveness in the Middle Eastern market.
  • Work with the customer conversion team to independently and completely close the revenue targets set by the company.
  • Continuously optimize marketing ROI and improve business profits by refining content, leveraging viral/fission growth strategies, and other methods adapted to regional user behaviors.
  • Be partially responsible for local brand marketing in the Middle East and the go‑to‑market marketing work for the direct sales team.

Key Requirements (Experience & Skills)

Essential:

  • 4+ years of marketing experience in cross‑border e‑commerce, fintech, payments, or SaaS, with exposure to the Middle East region.
  • Proven track record in the Middle East market – deep understanding of local SMB and freelancer business behaviors (especially in sectors like e‑commerce, retail, and professional services), business culture, and digital landscape across key markets such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
  • Experience in independently taking on revenue business targets via digital marketing and achieving strong results.
  • Hands‑on experience across the full spectrum of customer acquisition channels, including SEO/SEM, influencer marketing, social media marketing, viral/fission marketing, and offline partnership acquisition – preferably with Middle Eastern case studies.
  • Hands‑on experience with social media management (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and regionally popular platforms like Snapchat and TikTok), as well as content tools (Canva, mobile video editors).
  • Extensive experience in marketing and acquiring customers targeting individuals and small micro‑enterprises, with measurable success in the region.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to use Google Analytics and native insights to drive data‑informed decisions.
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing (email, push notifications, in‑app messaging) and customer journey mapping, with an understanding of regional communication preferences.
  • Excellent written and verbal English – ability to work with global teams (Arabic language skills are a plus, though not mandatory).

Preferred:

  • Existing network of Middle East‑based freelancer influencers, business associations, and community leaders.
  • Experience in acquiring customers through establishing partnerships with regional banks, payment gateways, or e‑commerce platforms.
  • Experience in marketing local financial product brands in the Middle East.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Braze, HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
