About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a team building an innovative new customer-facing product. This product enables users to create integrations and implement workflows using AI-driven capabilities. You will collaborate closely with multiple engineering groups, provide technical leadership, and help ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of the product from inception through deployment. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-impact offering from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build backend services in Go to support our new product offering.

  • Implement an agentic system that plans changes, generates integration code, validates execution in a sandbox, and reports results for approval.

  • Own product reliability and performance across design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

  • Collaborate with frontend engineering to contribute to a user-friendly interface that allows users to compose and iterate on workflows.

  • Play a key role in evolving the product roadmap to drive customer adoption and long-term value.

  • Mentor engineers and help establish standards for code quality, software design, and technical excellence.

Your Skill Set

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience designing and building distributed systems and APIs.

  • Experience using AI-driven code development tools and code assistants (e.g., Anthropic, GitHub Copilot).

  • Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented language such as Go, Java, Python, or C++.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.

  • Experience with data modeling, schema evolution, and designing resilient data systems.

  • Familiarity with microservices architectures deployed in containers and cloud-native environments.

  • Strong communication skills and effective collaboration across teams.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience leveraging LLMs and/or agents in production systems.

  • Experience building evaluation harnesses for LLM quality, reliability, or safety.

  • Knowledge of vector search, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.

  • Experience integrating multiple third-party or vendor platforms.

  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration concepts such as scheduling, retries, and state management (e.g., Temporal).

  • Frontend experience with React or similar frameworks.

  • Take ownership of a developer experience improvement related to deployment automation or monitoring.

  • Lead the implementation or refactor of a major component to improve scalability, reliability, or vendor onboarding velocity.

  • Drive architectural enhancements that strengthen the next generation of the product.
