pick’em turned flavoured toothpicks into a multimillion-euro brand, with nearly 100 million toothpicks sold, 500 million organic views and thousands of stores across Europe.
Now we’re building a confectionery universe beyond toothpicks, including a new category still under wraps, and looking for the designer who will define it.
The role
You will take over creative ownership from our founding designer and build the next version of pick’em alongside our CEO and COO.
You will lead through the work itself. Initially, you will be our central hands-on design owner, working directly inside the concepts, design systems, packaging, renderings, websites and final production files.
As pick’em grows, you will have the opportunity to build and lead our design team and potentially develop into our Chief Design Officer.
You will have exceptional creative freedom. In return, we expect exceptional ownership: strong ideas, fast execution, organized systems and finished work that is ready to manufacture, publish or install.
What you will own
Over your first twelve months, you will:
Build the pick’em design system:
Create a cohesive visual language, guidelines, templates and workflows that can scale across multiple product categories, markets and channels without making everything look identical.
Own packaging and production: Take packaging from the initial concept through dielines, prepress and final manufacturing files. Review physical samples, colors, materials and production details to ensure the finished product matches the design.
Create 3D product worlds: Produce high-quality product renderings for products that may not physically exist yet. Use 3D to support product concepts, physical prototyping, retail presentations and launches.
Design and build digital experiences: Own key websites, landing pages and launch experiences from Figma through Shopify implementation. Use modern AI and vibe-coding tools when they improve exploration, speed or execution.
Shape retail and launches: Create retail displays, point-of-sale materials, campaign concepts and launch systems. Depending on the project, this can also include social assets, pitch decks, merchandise, pop-ups and event environments.
You should bring
We care about what you can do, not how many years you have been doing it or where you studied.

How to apply
Send us your portfolio. No traditional cover letter is required.
We are particularly interested in seeing packaging, visual systems, 3D product work, websites and evidence that you can produce exceptional work across more than one design style.
Our process is simple:
We will align on compensation expectations before asking you to complete the design challenge.
