Now we’re building a confectionery universe beyond toothpicks, including a new category still under wraps.

We’re expanding our design team and looking for an unusually talented early-career designer to help bring the next chapter of pick’em to life.

The opportunity

Work closely with our Head of Design to develop and execute ideas across the entire brand
Create work that will be seen by millions of people and appear in thousands of stores
Follow projects from the first concept through to production and launch
Design across packaging, 3D, e-commerce, retail, campaigns, merchandise, and physical experiences
Take on more creative responsibility as your capabilities grow

This role is built for someone at the beginning of an ambitious design career. You do not need to have mastered every discipline already. We care about the quality of your work, your fundamentals and how quickly you learn, not the number of years on your CV.

What you’ll work on

Develop packaging concepts alongside our Head of Design, CEO and COO
Extend the pick’em identity across new flavours, formats and product categories
Adapt packaging for different products, markets and retail partners
Create accurate dielines, artwork and print-ready production files
Review print proofs, colours, materials and product samples
Produce 3D product renders, prototypes and campaign visuals
Design websites, landing pages and e-commerce experiences
Help bring digital designs to life in Shopify using modern development and AI tools
Create supermarket displays and other point-of-sale materials
Design assets for product launches, campaigns and social media
Work on presentations, merchandise, events and pop-ups
Help keep the brand consistent across every physical and digital touchpoint

Who we’re looking for

You might be a recent graduate, self-taught designer, freelancer or currently in your first or second full-time design role.

What matters is that your portfolio makes us stop scrolling.

You should have:

Exceptional visual taste and strong design fundamentals
A sharp eye for typography, composition, colour and detail
The ability to work across different visual styles
Some experience with packaging or print design, including freelance, university or self-initiated projects
Experience creating 3D product visuals in Blender or a similar tool
Confidence working in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
The ability to take creative direction while contributing your own ideas
A fast, structured and highly self-directed way of working
An interest in what makes design commercially effective
Professional English; German is not required

Strong additions

These are helpful, but not required:

Experience with FMCG, food, confectionery or consumer brands
Shopify, web design or no-code development experience
Experience using AI tools in your creative workflow
Knowledge of retail, e-commerce or social-first brands
Motion design, photography, video editing or illustration skills

We meet in person roughly once or twice per month. The role may also involve occasional travel for supplier visits, production, retail launches or events.
