Job Summary:
Pets Best is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented individual to join our team as a Marketing Account Executive. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to develop and execute partner sales and marketing strategies for pet insurance distribution. This is a unique opportunity to blend relationship management and marketing expertise and work cross-functionally to drive sales growth, penetration and retention for partner distribution channels.

Main responsibilities:
Relationship Management (50%)
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing proactive solutions.
- Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, claims, etc.) to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to meet client needs and business objectives.
- Monitor and track client feedback, using insights to enhance service delivery and strengthen client relationships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with the partners (e.g., campaigns, new sales and marketing channels, etc.)
- Size opportunities using a proprietary Deal Evaluation Model, Proforma, etc.
Marketing (50%)
- Drive an integrated marketing strategy by creating and implementing scalable campaigns and initiatives that enhance the sales strategy and engagement across all partner channels.
- Design and implement marketing strategies to promote pet insurance, enhancing brand awareness and market positioning.
- Campaign management including set-up, tracking and legal/compliance approvals
- Consult on content for marketing campaigns, including digital marketing (social media, email newsletters, website content) and print materials (brochures, flyers, etc.).
- As needed, coordinate marketing efforts for client-facing events, webinars, and seminars, ensuring successful execution and alignment with client needs.
- Collaborate with the partner and product marketing team to optimize digital campaigns and track performance metrics to achieve marketing goals.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure the efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years’ account management, sales, marketing, business development, and/or related experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
Preferred Qualifications:
- B2B2C Marketing, insurance distribution or marketing agency experience
- Excellent project management experience and problem-solving abilities, including working cross-functionally with teams and managing multiple projects at once
- Digital marketing experience
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret data and research from multiple sources, identify trends, and make data-driven strategy and tactical recommendations and identify new business opportunities.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM tool
- Ability to demonstrate curiosity, innovation and creative approaches to business needs
- Strong consultative sales skills
