We're seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the quality of our cutting-edge applications by designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies within a modern C#/.NET/SQL environment. You'll not only build innovative automation solutions but also play a key role in mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and Build: Design, develop, and maintain robust API automation frameworks and testing suites using C#/.NET and SQL, ensuring scalability and reusability.
• Code for Quality: Write exceptionally clean, maintainable, and adaptable automation code, moving beyond hardcoded values to create intelligent, data-driven tests.
• Test with Precision: Leverage your hands-on expertise with unit test frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Unit Test, XUnit) to build comprehensive unit, integration, smoke, performance, and load tests.
• Automate Everything: Develop and support automated unit, system, performance, and load test harnesses and modules, ensuring seamless integration into our CI/CD pipelines.
• Master Your Tools: Utilize tools like Postman and PowerShell to enhance testing capabilities and streamline workflows.
• Smart Testing: Implement effective mocking strategies to isolate and validate application components.
• Comprehensive Coverage: Contribute to both automated and manual testing efforts, ensuring thorough coverage across all product functionalities.
• Lead and Mentor: Guide and mentor less experienced team members, sharing your knowledge and fostering their growth in automation best practices.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team, contributing to a vibrant and innovative work environment by generating innovative approaches and solutions to recurring problems.

What You’ll Bring

• Over 5-6 years of relevant experience with .Net framework.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good experience in API automation.
• Design, implement, and execute automated testing suites on the C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack.
• Having hands on experience with different unit-test frameworks (Microsoft Unit Tests, XUnit, etc.).
• Writing clean code, and code that takes dynamic input (as opposed to pre-defined / hard-coded values).
• Being able to work independently to understand requirements, and break it down into positive, negative test-cases.
• Having strong understanding of unit-tests, integration tests, smoke-test, load test to improve quality of the product.
• Using Postman, PowerShell, and other tools to effectively test and/or troubleshoot issues.
• Design, build, and test high quality reusable automated test harnesses and modules.
• Develop and support automated unit, system, performance, and load test harnesses and modules.
• Understand cross-product/project contracts.
• Writing tests using mocks.
• Write automation and manual tests.
• Experience contributing to the delivery of high-quality products on time while working on Agile Teams and following Agile + SAFE methodologies.
