Permiso is an identity security startup that is helping companies secure ALL of their human and non-human identities and prevent identity-based attacks, whether that’s account takeover, credential compromise or insider threats. Permiso unifies organization identities by synthesizing runtime activity across different environments to make attribution and risk assessment easier. Permiso's multi-plane coverage correlates runtime behavior and static risk analysis across more than just cloud service providers. By building sessions from disparate run-time events, security teams can more easily investigate and understand ‘what happened in my environment’ across identity providers, Iaas, PaaS and SaaS applications.
Our executive team consists of former Fireye leadership and has extensive experience in growing early stage security startups into successful exits. In April of last year, the startup raised $18.5M Series A to fuel its growth. The company was founded in 2019 and came out of stealth mode in early 2022 after raising a $10 million Seed financing round. In 2022, the company was a SINET16 finalist, and our threat research is cited and leveraged the biggest security companies in the world.
Position
Permiso is looking for a candidate with several years of experience in a cybersecurity startup, preferably with cloud or identity security startup. We’re looking for a candidate that can roll up their sleeves and help execute against an evolving marketing plan, support our sales team and collaborate with our head of product.
Execute on Marketing Plan - Ensure product launches are executed with attention to detail including all the necessary collaboration with the rest of the marketing, product, sales and engineering
Competitive Intelligence - Monitor the existing and emerging players in the space and keep up to date on their offerings as it relates to Permiso
Content Development - Drive the development of technical artifacts such as data sheets, one pagers, marketecture diagrams, slide decks, as well as collaborate with the P0 labs team to develop blog posts, webinars and other technical, educational content
Product Management - Support our VP of Product and other members of the product management team to help them continue to build one of the hottest products in cloud security.
Messaging & Positioning - Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and VP of Product to update and improve messaging framework guide and ensure that messaging is implemented with consistently across engineering > product management > marketing > sales.
Sales Enablement - Collaborate with VP of Sales and the rest of the sales team to meet sales collateral development needs, ensure they are armed with the tools to
support their sales engagements and gather feedback on what the reps are hearing in the field
Product Updates - Work with engineering and product management to ensure that customers are kept up to date with updates and enhancements and communicating those updates through blog posts, emails and social media.
