Location: Remote with moderate event travel
About the Role
Perfect Game is looking for a baseball‑obsessed Director of Marketing, who will serve as the marketing engine that fuels our Tournaments, Showcases, and Scouting operations. You’ll be embedded among our operations leaders, understand every detail of what happens at our events, and turn that on‑the‑ground knowledge into real‑time, high‑impact content across all channels.
If you naturally think: Which player is hot today? What milestone just happened? What story needs to get out now? How do we amplify this in 30 seconds or less? — you’ll fit right in.
This is not a traditional marketing role. It’s for someone who loves the pace and energy of the baseball ecosystem and knows exactly how to speak to its fans, parents, athletes, and scouts. This is your chance to shape how Perfect Game tells its story—
What You’ll Do

Regional Intern Leadership
- Manage a team of regional media/marketing interns responsible for on‑site coverage.
- Clearly communicate daily content needs, priorities, and storylines.
- Train interns on quality standards, accuracy, tone, and brand voice.
- Mobilize them quickly during events to capture footage, stats, interviews, photos, and key moments.
Operations Partnership
- Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with Tournament Directors, Scouting Directors, and Showcase Leads.
- Attend key events to understand the vibe, the players, and the storylines.

Crisis‑Ready & Thick‑Skinned
- Handle high‑pressure, high‑volume environments with confidence.
- Respond calmly and professionally to feedback (including the loud, passionate variety).
- Maintain accuracy and composure during fast‑moving or sensitive situations.
What You Bring
- 8+ years in sports marketing, social media, live‑event content, or related roles.
- Deep baseball knowledge—youth and travel ball strongly preferred; Perfect Game experience is a major plus.
- Proven experience running dynamic, real‑time content operations.
- Strong social media instincts and a pulse on emerging platforms.
- Experience leading or coordinating teams (interns, freelancers, content staff).
- Ability to travel for major events throughout the year.
- High emotional resilience—you can take feedback, adapt quickly, and stay mission‑focused.
- A passion for storytelling, content speed, and baseball culture.
