Software Engineer – Enterprise Platform (VB.NET, C#, React)

Overview

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to support and enhance the Peoplevine platform—a system built on VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms that powers enterprise membership and engagement solutions worldwide.

This role blends maintaining critical features with helping modernize our stack using C# and React. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions while contributing to the long-term evolution of the platform.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain core features in VB.NET/ASP.NET Web Forms while driving modernization toward C# and React

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design secure, scalable, and intuitive solutions

• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in peer reviews

• Integrate third-party APIs and business systems

• Troubleshoot and optimize performance, reliability, and security

• Propose improvements to architecture and development practices

• Contribute in an Agile environment where adaptability and collaboration are key

What You Bring • Strong experience with VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms

• Hands-on knowledge of C# and React (professional or project-based)• Solid SQL skills (queries, schema design, optimization)

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS toolchains

andFamiliarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration best practices Understanding security and authentication in enterprise applications

• Knowledge of unit/integration testing in .NET and JS

• Experience with Git/GitHub for source control

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience modernizing legacy systems (Web Forms → .NET Core/React)

• Familiarity with cloud deployment (Azure, GitHub pipelines)

• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms

• Awareness of CI/CD best practices

• UI/UX sensibility for improving Web Forms applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience with VB.NET and ASP.NET

• Commercial or strong project-based experience in C# and React
