We are looking for a skilled Applications Engineer for one of our leading clients in the consulting space. Please apply ASAP if you are interested! Should you have experience with European Banks - this would be very desirable. You must have Core Banking Platform or Core Banking Systems experience. This is an initial contract role with potential to extend. Open to candidates based all over Australia.

Key Requirements

4+ years of extensive experience using the Temenos Java Extensibility framework.
Relevant hands on experience on R22 or posterior.
Deep technical understanding (7+ years) on AA modules (loans, deposits), configuration tables and Java routines hook points.
Core Banking Platform/Systems Experience eg. Temenos, Finacle, Misys, Mambu or Oracle FLEXCUBE but Temenos/T24 is preferred

Key Responsibilities

You will lead a team of developers
Support Product Owner in the creation of Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
Translate the requirements in the FSD to technical design (producing or directing & validating the production of TSDs )Technical Specification Documents)
Identify hook points and the correct Temenos Java methods to implement the designs
Lead the development of the Java Routines,
Test and QA the code
Solve technical questions for developers in the team.
You will also lead the test support team regarding integrated and user acceptance testing
