A well-funded AI company is building the next generation of real-time infrastructure to power ML-based advertising—grounded in behavioral data, designed with privacy in mind, and engineered for scale.

With deep technical talent, major strategic partnerships, and a strong financial runway, the team is now hiring a Tech Lead Software Engineer to own the architecture and delivery of a key product system: a high-throughput, low-latency bidding platform that connects real-world intelligence with real-time decisioning.

The Opportunity

As the Tech Lead for the Ad Platform, you’ll take on a high-impact role owning the technical direction and execution of a major product initiative. You’ll work across backend infra, low-latency pipelines, and service orchestration—while remaining deeply hands-on.

This is a rare opportunity to help architect a core pillar of the business from the ground up, while collaborating with experts from top-tier product and infra teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of real-time systems for ML-based ad decisioning
• Build low-latency, high-throughput infrastructure for bidding and signal orchestration
• Define scalable service boundaries and deployment patterns across the stack
• Translate ambiguous product goals into concrete, testable system designs
• Mentor other engineers and help shape engineering culture and processes
• Ensure systems are observable, resilient, and reproducible in production

What You’ll Bring

• Experience building distributed systems at scale, ideally in ads, recsys, or real-time domains
• Hands-on expertise with low-latency architecture and data infrastructure
• Proficiency with compiled languages such as Go, Rust, or Scala
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead zero-to-one technical projects
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to balance speed with technical rigor
• Previous startup experience or a builder mindset is a plus

• Cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• CI/CD, observability, and reproducibility best practices
