Perl Developer

As a Sr Software Engineer - Perl, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.

Responsibilities: -

• Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components

• Understand, debug existing systems and propose new, alternative technology in order to make them more scalable and achieve results.

• Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixes.

• Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals

• Adhere to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint, including unit tests, functional testing, code reviews, no regressions, bug fixes, documentation and adhere to best coding practices.

• Participate and contribute to scrum meetings i.e., daily stand-up, sprint planning, readouts and retrospectives Experience in working with Micro services will be an added advantage.

• Experience: - 8+ Years

• Location: - Remote / EST work hours

Educational Qualifications: -

• Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Skills: -

Mandatory skills

• Familiarity of working in an Agile environment
• Experience in production support and monitoring tools
• Experience of modern programming languages such as: Perl, Java
• Experience of Unix/Linux preferred
• Experience of SQL/ORACLE
• Exposure to object-oriented programming & relational database technologies.
• Experience in working with Micro services will be an added advantage.

Good to have skills: -

• Experience in working on CI/CD Pipelines using GitLab
