Our client is a preowned luxury fashion tech company, that enables brands and retailers to buy & sell used goods through innovation and technology. They have developed a unique Resale as a Service solution utilized by the world’s largest retailers, and are also a global distributor (B2B player) of pre-owned luxury fashion for businesses. They currently have offices and warehouses in Portugal, Estonia, US, China, Japan, and the Philippines. They foster curiosity, by continuously providing our team members with avenues to explore, experiment, innovate and disrupt the current luxury resale model in a nutshell, that is our essence.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# in a cloud-native environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and efficient solutions aligned with product goals
• Design and optimize SQL database structures, queries, and procedures for high-performance data processing
• Participate in code reviews to drive continuous improvement and code quality
• Maintain high standards of security, compliance, and performance across all backend systems

What you Bring

• Proficiency in C# with .NET 8, demonstrating the ability to build modern, scalable, and maintainable backend applications.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services, leveraging platform capabilities for deployment, integration, and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka, indicating the ability to design and implement event-driven or distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including designing schemas, writing complex queries, and optimizing performance.
• Exposure to frontend technologies like React and TypeScript is a plus, though not a core requirement for the role
