Responsibilities
• Design and execute local marketing campaigns aligned with global guidelines, but adapted to the Brazilian market (language, humor, cultural references, holidays, film festivals).
• Plan growth tactics by channel: paid media, organic social, creator partnerships, email/push notifications, and influencer marketing within cinema/TV/pop culture niches.
• Localize creatives, copy, landing pages, and user flows in Brazilian Portuguese, coordinating translations and quality assurance.
• Launch and test geo-targeted campaigns in key cities (e.g. São Paulo, Rio, Porto Alegre, Recife, Belo Horizonte) to refine messaging and acquisition costs.
• Launch and moderate community spaces (platform & social media) in Brazilian Portuguese, ensuring alignment with brand tone.
• Implement recognition and gamification initiatives (badges, critic highlights, contributor rankings, social media shoutouts).
• Map the full user journey in Brazil, from registration to recurring engagement.
• Set up onboarding sequences to drive first-time contributions within 7 days.
• Create segmented re-engagement campaigns and automate triggers (e.g. premieres, festivals, anniversaries, user interactions).
• Analyze cohorts to optimize copy, timing, and channels for retention (D7, D30, contribution frequency).
• Build partnerships with universities (film, communication, journalism), festivals, cineclubs, and cultural collectives.
• Co-create activities such as debates, writing challenges, fellowships, and audience award collaborations.
• Identify and attend key cultural events and design low-cost/high-impact brand activations.
• Coordinate logistics (brand materials, volunteers, lead collection, follow-up).
• Collaborate with global and LATAM teams across Product, BI, Content, Social, PR, and Legal.
• Report weekly and monthly results (acquisition, retention, contributions, partnerships).
• Document playbooks to scale local learnings across markets.
Qualifications
• Current residence in São Paulo, Brazil (mandatory).
• Native Portuguese speaker with advanced English (mandatory); Spanish is a plus.
• Previous experience in marketing, communications, cultural management, events, or community building.
• University degree in marketing, communication, advertising, production, or related fields.
• Deep understanding of Brazil’s cultural and audiovisual landscape.
• Genuine passion for cinema, content, and community building.
• Strong autonomy, creativity, and multitasking skills.
