Our mission is to bridge cutting-edge hardware with intuitive software, creating mission-critical tools for industries like healthcare, logistics, and industrial IoT. As part of our rapid growth, we’re expanding our mobile development team to build seamless companion applications that amplify the power of our wearable devices.

Location: Melbourne, Australia (hybrid/remote considered)

Team: 25 engineers (hardware, software, AI) + 3 commercial strategists

Role

We’re seeking a Product Designer (Hardware) with a strong background in 3D design and manufacturing to join our design team. You’ll lead the industrial and mechanical design of our device range—from early-stage concepting to design for manufacturing and production.

You will:

• Own the end-to-end physical product design process for the wearable hardware
• Translate early sketches and technical constraints into CAD models and 3D prototypes
• Collaborate with AI, embedded systems, and mechatronics teams to integrate sensors, PCBs, and batteries into ergonomic, human-friendly form factors
• Work with external manufacturers to refine tooling, materials, and DFM practices
• Balance product aesthetics with usability, durability, and internal component layout

You should have:

• 4+ years of experience designing technology products or wearables (or equivalent industrial design hardware experience)
• Strong command of CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar)
• Experience creating 3D-printed prototypes and working through iterative cycles
• A portfolio that includes shipping products, ideally in the wearable, consumer electronics, or assistive tech space
• Understanding of materials (plastics, metals, polymers) and manufacturing constraints.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, startup environment with cross-functional collaboration (mechanical + electrical + software)
