Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Content Marketing Head to join our team. As the leader of the content marketing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of content strategies that engage our target audience, drive brand awareness, and support our business objectives. You will play a key role in shaping our content marketing strategy and ensuring that all content aligns with our brand voice, goals, and audience needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Content Strategy: Create a comprehensive content marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement across all digital channels.
- Content Creation & Optimization: Oversee the production of high-quality written, visual, and video content for blogs, websites, social media, email campaigns, landing pages, and more.
- Lead Content Calendar Management: Plan and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent content delivery and align with key product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotions.
- SEO & SEM Focus: Work closely with the SEO and SEM teams to optimize content for search engines, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and backlinking strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of content creators, copywriters, designers, and freelance contributors to produce compelling, high-quality content.
- Brand Voice & Tone: Ensure that all content reflects the company’s brand values, tone, and personality across all communication channels.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to track content performance, measure KPIs, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure content supports business goals and addresses customer pain points.
- Content Distribution: Identify and execute content distribution strategies through social media, email marketing, partnerships, and influencer marketing.
- Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest content marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and apply them to campaigns.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in content marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing a team.
- Content Creation Expertise: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with experience in various content formats including blogs, whitepapers, videos, social media, and email marketing.
- SEO Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital marketing tactics including email marketing, paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads), and social media marketing.
- Content Analytics: Proficient in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot) to track content performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Creative & Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop creative content ideas while aligning them with overall marketing strategies and business goals.
- Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
