About the role:

PCX Markets is seeking a skilled and creative UI/UX Designer for a full-remote, part-time consultancy engagement, forecasted to last for approximately one month (with potential extension), to deliver buildable, user-focused designs for our digital products, including the client dashboard and Shopify Plug-in App. Reporting to the Products and Services Director, this role ensures seamless translation of user needs into intuitive, functional interfaces that enhance product usability and client engagement.

This consultancy is essential to driving the usability and impact of PCX’s technology solutions, supporting our mission to prevent plastic pollution and advance the circular economy.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop buildable front-end UX/UI designs based on agreed product features, requirements, and user needs.
Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and key stakeholders to inform and refine UX/UI design decisions.
Incorporate stakeholder and user feedback into design iterations to ensure optimal usability and visual consistency.
Provide recommendations to enhance the end-to-end user experience, extending beyond front-end visuals to overall product usability.
Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to inform design improvements and maintain competitive standards.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with proven proficiency in Figma and Canva for creating and refining design assets
Strong understanding and application of UX/UI design principles to deliver user-focused, buildable designs
Proficiency in other UX tools is appreciated.
High-level knowledge of front-end development is a plus.
Can commit to at least 15 hours of dedicated work per week
Ability to work within Philippine business hours, with flexibility for occasional ad hoc interactions as needed.
