Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Position Description:

The Search Engine Marketing Specialist will be responsible for strategizing and executing advertising within Google Ads for their Automotive clients. The preferred candidate has proficient knowledge in Google Ads and Google Analytics, as well as previous experience running Google Advertising within the Automotive vertical. The Search Engine Marketing Specialist should have an exceptional understanding of Google Analytics 4 and their integration capabilities into Google Ads, as well as previous experience handling multiple clients/projects simultaneously.

Position Responsibilities:

• Create, manage, and optimize Google Ad campaigns according to the client’s business goals
• Manage up to 35 accounts daily to ensure successful performance
• Daily account management, which includes but is not limited to budget pacing, performance optimization, campaign builds, platform troubleshooting, strategy development, and client-facing reporting
• Ongoing self-education within the Google platforms and Search Engine Marketing best practices
• Regular client communication on strategy and performance with the Director, Account Managers, and clients
• Team coordination and collaboration with different departments, including SEO, Social Media, and Content, to develop new strategies for each client
• Ongoing testing in accounts to advance PCG Digital’s Search Engine Marketing services for our clients

Position Requirements:

• 3+ years of Search Engine Marketing experience for Automotive, specifically Google Ads – please do not apply if you do not have Automotive Google Ads experience
• Strong background in Google Analytics 4
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience in Automation Platforms like Fluency
• Experience running Google Advertising for Automotive OEM Programs
• Microsoft Advertising for Automotive
• 2+ years managing multiple client accounts and/or in an agency setting
• Excellent analytical and writing skills
• Team player and problem solver
• Self-educator
