Data Scientist – Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing & Process Analytics

Our client, a global leader in the biopharmaceutical sector, is looking for a specialist to join their manufacturing science and technology division. The role focuses on providing advanced statistical and data science support to optimize mammalian cell culture-based drug substance processes throughout their life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced statistical and data science support across cell culture, purification, and analytical functions.
• Contribute to technical protocols and reports through experimental design, data collection, and statistical analysis.
• Support process and method optimization, investigations, comparability studies, and monitoring activities.
• Ensure the traceability and reliability of data analyses for regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate timely information exchange and technical expertise with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with legal standards and regulations to ensure high-quality scientific documentation.

Requirements

• You have 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• You possess advanced knowledge of Statistics and Data Science techniques.
• You bring experience in experimental design, data collection, and statistical interpretation.
• You have a degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• You're proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work autonomously.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working in a cGMP environment and knowledge of regulatory guidelines.
• Domain knowledge in Biologics, specifically upstream or downstream development.
• Experience leading complex technical projects.
• Active knowledge of Dutch.
