About the Role

As the Director of Marketing, you will lead the charge in building and executing PATH's marketing strategy, helping to elevate our position as a leader in sustainability. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will oversee a talented team of marketing professionals, collaborating across departments to drive brand awareness, engage consumers, and fuel revenue growth.

To thrive here, you must embrace challenges with resilience, see opportunities where others see obstacles, and embody a growth mindset. We value curiosity, optimism, and determination. You should feel confident sharing bold ideas while remaining open to feedback and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with PATH’s mission and growth objectives, driving market share, brand awareness, and consumer engagement.
  • Brand Management: Define and refine PATH’s brand architecture, target consumer segments, and positioning to ensure a consistent and compelling presence across all touchpoints.
  • Integrated Campaign Execution: Plan and execute omnichannel campaigns that include digital, social media, influencer partnerships, experiential marketing, retail activations, and shopper marketing initiatives designed to influence purchase behavior.
  • Social Media Excellence: Oversee the strategy and execution of social media platforms, ensuring engaging content, robust community management, and alignment with brand voice to amplify reach and impact.
  • Merchandising and In-Store Presence: Partner with sales and operations teams to develop in-store merchandising strategies that maximize visibility, optimize shelf space, and drive velocity at retail.
  • Velocity Growth: Analyze sales performance data to identify opportunities to improve product velocity and ensure effective execution of trade promotions and marketing activities at the store level.
  • Tradeshow Leadership: Plan and manage tradeshow presence, including booth design, messaging, and pre/post-show marketing to maximize visibility and generate leads.
  • Innovation Commercialization: Lead the go-to-market strategies for new products, partnerships, and formats, leveraging consumer insights and market data to ensure successful launches and market adoption.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Collaborate with insights teams to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, campaign performance, and shopper data, using these insights to refine and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to balance growth with ROI while prioritizing key initiatives like social media, shopper marketing, and tradeshows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and product development teams to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and support key launches, merchandising efforts, and in-store execution.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Cultural Relevance: Stay ahead of trends to ensure PATH’s marketing strategy evolves with the pace of culture, keeping the brand relevant and impactful across all platforms, from social media to in-store experiences.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of senior-level marketing experience, ideally within CPG, beverage, or sustainability-focused brands.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and grow high-performing teams while building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of brand strategy, digital marketing, integrated campaigns, and retail marketing.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use data and insights to inform strategies and measure success.
