Graphic Designer

Job Purpose

To develop and execute premium creative concepts across packaging, retail, social media, and campaign platforms while ensuring consistent brand storytelling and luxury standards.

The ideal candidate combines conceptual thinking, refined visual taste, packaging design experience, and AI-enabled creative workflows, with the ability to take an idea from initial story and mood direction through to packaging artwork, retail application, digital content, and final rollout.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts, visual stories, and mood directions for collections, campaigns, gifting occasions, and seasonal launches.
• Translate storytelling ideas into premium packaging concepts, including boxes, sleeves, labels, gift sets, inserts, and packaging details.
• Build packaging-led visual systems that can extend into retail displays, campaign key visuals, social media assets, invitations, announcements, and digital content.
• Create sketches, mockups, moodboards, key visuals, presentations, and final artwork that clearly communicate the concept from idea to execution.
• Ensure each concept is adapted consistently across packaging, retail, social media, digital screens, print, and other brand touchpoints.

Education

• Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Packaging Design, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 3-5 years of proven experience in graphic design, preferably within luxury, retail, FMCG, hospitality, confectionery, or premium consumer brands.
• Experience translating concepts and stories into premium packaging, retail visuals, social media assets, and campaign applications.
• Strong experience working with packaging artwork, dielines, supplier specifications, print production, and final artwork preparation.
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into the design workflow for ideation, mockups, image generation, and concept development.
• Experience creating and directing AI-generated imagery for packaging concepts, campaign visuals, digital content, and social media applications.

Technical Competencies

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of CMYK, RGB, Pantone colours, print production requirements, materials, finishes, and artwork preparation.
• Good understanding of social media content creation, visual storytelling, and content adaptation across digital formats.
• Comfortable working with Arabic and multilingual layouts, including RTL content, is an advantage.
