Senior Software Engineer (HALO)

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be one of the lead developers responsible for the High Availability Low Overhead Agent (HALO) of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills. The title of this position is _HALO Content Engineer__.

_Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the Halo platform and its use in delivering security features
• Edit and deploy policies, rules, and content using Git, Jenkins, and related tools
• Maintain and update legacy code while developing new tools to improve workflows
• Work with code to prepare and manage compliance rules
• Collaborate with engineering teams to fix bugs and enhance platform functionality
• Write clear and thorough documentation in Confluence

Requirements

• Proficiency in Ruby and Python programming languages
• Strong experience with Git, JSON, XML, and Bash scripting
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows system administration
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to create accurate documentation
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to learn new technologies independently

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with SaaS platforms
• Knowledge of Host-based Intrusion Detection Systems (HIDS), File Integrity Monitoring (FIM), and broader cybersecurity concepts
