Who We’re Looking for
ParentSquare is seeking an innovative, strategic, and collaborative Director of Product Marketing who can craft compelling stories and position products to drive growth and market leadership. You’re a visionary who deeply understands customers, competitive landscapes, and can translate product value into clear, impactful messaging. As a core leader within Marketing and across the organization, you’ll inspire alignment, creativity, and collaboration, working closely with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success to accelerate adoption and delight customers.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and lead the go-to-market strategy, including product positioning, messaging, customer segmentation, and competitive differentiation.
- Own comprehensive marketing plans for new products and major features, ensuring successful internal alignment and flawless execution.
- Act as the strategic voice of the customer, capturing insights from customer interactions, win/loss analyses, competitive intelligence, and market research.
- Create clear, compelling value propositions, messaging frameworks, and content that articulate business outcomes to diverse audiences.
- Develop robust sales enablement resources, including presentations, product collateral, demos, training materials, and tools that empower the Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Drive initiatives that enhance customer adoption, engagement, and retention, collaborating closely with Customer Success and Product Management.
- Collaborate with the broader Marketing team to infuse product insights and positioning into campaigns, newsletters, websites, blogs, webinars, and other demand-generation activities.
- Lead ongoing competitive analysis and market research, continually refining product positioning to stay ahead of market trends.
- Thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, proactively building scalable processes and structures that support organizational growth.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- 5+ years of Product Marketing leadership experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS environments.
- Proven success in developing and executing product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence teams across Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of clearly articulating complex concepts and business value.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
- Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools such as Asana, Slack, HubSpot, G Suite, and Zoom.
- Creative approach to leveraging AI technologies to enhance productivity and innovation in marketing processes.
