Duration: 16 Weeks

Compensation: Unpaid

This is an unpaid internship that will run for 16 weeks. During this period, you will gain valuable experience in Marketing Acquisition Management and contribute to meaningful projects.

This internship is unpaid. However, based on your performance and the successful acquisition of company funding, there is the potential for this role to transition into a paid position after the internship period. At the end of the 16 weeks, candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance will receive a pre-agreement, with payment commencing upon securing funding.

Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Acquisition Manager to lead user growth and engagement for our upcoming app launch. In this unpaid, remote role, you will be responsible for driving app installs, increasing first-time usage, and optimizing performance across digital channels. This is a unique opportunity to shape the acquisition strategy of a mission-driven startup and directly impact its growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimize the acquisition funnel—from app download to onboarding and first-time user activation.
• Plan, execute, and iterate on multi-channel acquisition campaigns, including paid social, influencer marketing, app store optimization, referral programs, and campus initiatives.
• Identify high-performing user segments and craft tailored messaging and creatives.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to test onboarding flows, app store visuals, and in-app growth loops.
• Track key performance indicators such as CPA, CAC, ROAS, and install-to-activation rates to inform strategy.
• Analyze campaign data to enhance conversion efficiency and uncover new growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with brand, CRM, and content teams to ensure acquisition efforts support long-term engagement and retention.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in acquisition or performance marketing for a consumer-facing mobile app.
• Demonstrated success in driving app installs and conversions across mobile-first channels.
• Deep understanding of performance metrics, mobile marketing, and analytics tools.
• Hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Google UAC, TikTok Ads, and influencer campaign funnels.
• Strong analytical and creative instincts with a test-and-learn mindset.
• Prior experience in startups or early-stage product launches is highly desirable.
