At Parallel Distribution, we build tooling and automation pipelines for short-form social media content; partnering directly with global brands to massively scale their presence online. By managing a large number of organic accounts that post multiple times daily, Parallel Distribution is able to generate a huge volume of highly targeted, high-trust impressions, while also iterating on content at an unprecedented speed.

This is an exciting time in our company’s journey - we just raised $2.5m to accelerate the buildout of our Agentic social media accounts (you can think of them like AI influencers). With a 0.2% control of all posts on Tiktok, we are growing quickly, and we are looking for people who will be part of our success.

Team Structure:

Joining Parallel Distribution, you’ll work directly in a small but-mighty engineering team; collaborating directly with the CEO. We’ll be splitting up into pods of three, each tackling key projects in bi-weekly sprints. Your work will immediately go to production, having a massive impact on the organization.

You will work with teams who own the following categories of work:

Custom video processing and editing pipelines using our in-house Video Editor
AI-image generation tooling and image-content creation pipelines creation tools for our content team to create the highest-quality possible content
On-device automations (iPhone and Android) for content distribution across multiple platforms
Job queueing algorithms which route tens of thousands of jobs daily
Webscraping automations using Playwright, Puppeteer, and Agentic browser control software like Browserbase/Browser-Use.
R&D on new systems for scalable, performance-optimized content generation workflows
End-to-End ownership of the development of various SaaS applications (both internal and external)

We are looking for 6 – 7 mid-level to senior Software Engineers who are excited to move fast, work alongside excellent team members, and challenge their peers to be the best they can be.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Build, integrate and optimize content generation workflows (for social media content)
Build and maintain browser-based and physical-device-based scraping and automation workflows + scheduling algorithms
Own entire project builds end-to-end.
Developing workflows around the latest image and video generation models (notably: VEO3.1, Sora-2, NanoBanana, GPT-Image-1 etc.)
Fine-tune models for specific needs across the organization
Collaborate with a young, dynamic, fast-moving team and contribute ideas that help shape our product direction

Mandatory Qualifications

3-7 years demonstrated proficiency and hands-on development experience in:

Typescript/Javascript (React, Node.js)
Python (scripting or full-stack framework)

Experience with modern databases: Supabase, Firebase, or SQL
Modest experience with browser automation frameworks (Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium) or on-device automations (Android Debug Bridge or equivalent)
Experience in Architecting, building, and deploying full-stack SaaS applications or mobile apps; preferably as a team lead or solo contributor.
Demonstrated passion for coding; we want to see personal projects you’ve built for the sake of exploring new technologies, learning new things, or just for the love of the beauty of software engineering.
Independent problem-solver who can manage deliverables with little-to-no handholding.

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus points for experience with:

DevOps / Networking: server management, tunneling, proxy rotation, CI/CD
Understanding of multi-accounting and anti-bot / fingerprinting techniques
Remotion.dev (for programmatic video generation)
ADB / PocoUI (for Android automation)
Trigger.dev (background job orchestration)
