At Paragon Fitwear, we're redefining activewear for women who lift. From signature styles like Sculptseam™ to our focus on invisible shaping and glute contouring, we’re all about function, form, and fierce confidence. We're a fully remote, tight-knit team that values precision, initiative, and good vibes 🙌

We’re looking for someone who’s self-managed, proactive, and energized by owning projects from end to end—especially in a fully remote environment.

📋 Role Overview:

We’re seeking a highly motivated Associate Designer to support the full design process from concept through production. This role is perfect for someone creatively driven and detail-oriented, with a sharp eye for emerging trends and the ability to translate them into innovative, commercially successful women’s activewear for the Paragon customer.

🏗️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Designer in developing and executing seasonal collections across categories.
  • Contribute to all product lifecycle phases, from concept through production.
  • Conduct market research, including competitor analysis and trend forecasting in silhouette, fabric, color, and innovation.
  • Prepare and present brand-aligned, trend-informed design concepts; adapt and refine based on feedback.
  • Develop detailed technical flats in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Build and maintain tech packs and BOMs using Google Sheets and/or PLM, partnering with Technical Design.
  • Manage sample processes for fit, PPS, and TOP samples.
  • Create and maintain seasonal line plans.
  • Proactively manage timelines to meet all deadlines per the seasonal calendar.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Technical Design, and Marketing to ensure design vision execution.

⚡ Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of apparel design experience; activewear a plus.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator with strong sketching and CAD skills.
  • PLM system experience a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and technical specs.
  • Strong ability to identify trends and convert them into commercially viable women’s activewear that resonates with the Paragon customer.
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and accurate.
  • Self-driven with strong ownership and follow-through.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Located in Portland, OR or West Coast.

💜 You may like this job if

  • You have a passion for the activewear, lingerie, or shapewear industry.
  • You are obsessed with details and numbers.
  • You enjoy creative problem solving and finding solutions independently.
  • You enjoy managing projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are organized and excel at multitasking, managing multiple styles in development simultaneously.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy communicating with various teams and external partners.
  • You have strong project management skills and enjoy seeing initiatives through to completion.
  • You value proactive communication and don't hesitate to ask clarifying questions.
  • You're comfortable building systems from scratch and working independently with minimal micromanagement.

⭐ Benefits

  • Competitive salary, unlimited PTO, equipment, and perks (including free activewear!).
  • Flexible remote work schedule (must be based in the US).
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture with room for growth, including potential leadership opportunities as the team expands.
  • Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 annually.
