We’re seeking an experienced and driven marketing and research professional who is accomplished at using data to guide and develop foundational marketing strategies. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success and experience leading teams to deliver on project goals. You will be working in a fast-paced, think-tank environment, alongside a veteran team of researchers, data analysts, and strategic marketers supporting a diverse range of research and strategic marketing projects for world class brands.
The jobs we do span the product lifecycle from planning & design, GTM, and adoption, usage & satisfaction. This role requires strong qualitative and quantitative research experience, deep analytical skills, experience in product marketing or business strategy, and seasoned business acumen. A key aspect of this role is finding patterns in information that balance qualitative human insights with quantitative data, as well as the ability to move fluidly between the tactical and strategic needs of a project.
Role objective:
Successfully and independently guide and lead marketing strategy and research projects with your team, that deliver measurable business impact and high customer satisfaction, resulting in revenue growth through repeat client engagement.
Key responsibilities:
Marketing strategy
▪ Accurately define the problem statement each project is designed to address
▪ Define project success in partnership with client input
▪ Inform strategic and tactical product and service decisions from definition through launch and measurement
▪ Identify and prioritize target customers using segmentation and deep audience intelligence
▪ Develop value propositions, and positioning & messaging strategies that can land in practical go-to-market scenarios
▪ Conduct competitive analysis to identify white space and differentiation opportunities
▪ Strong storytelling capabilities
Research strategy
▪ Design mixed method client research studies
▪ Lead research projects including problem definition, project objectives, targeted actionable outcomes, developing qualitative and quantitative research instruments and deliverables with an emphasis on business impact
▪ Collect target audience data through a variety of methods including synthesizing existing information, IDIs, focus groups, ethnographies, diary studies, surveys (including advanced survey methods such as Max Diff, Gaber Granger, Van Westendorp, Conjoint, etc.), telemetry data, use of AI tools, and other new, innovative methodologies
▪ Identify and extract actionable insights from data
▪ Manage and review quality and accuracy of research instruments, analytics and reporting
Management
▪ Experience leading and managing teams of 3+
▪ Passion for developing staff skills and competencies
▪ History of working collaboratively and effectively with CxO level individuals

Education & Experience:
▪ Bachelors or Masters in Marketing, Communications, Psychology or related fields
▪ Minimum of 5 years of marketing strategy and/or qualitative and quantitative research experience
▪ Diverse industry experiences a plus
