We are seeking a senior/staff level engineer with Elixir/Phoenix experience to join our team! This individual will work on a small, independent team building out a greenfield project. Contract and full-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

Direct key technical decisions related to application and data model design of a greenfield Elixir/Phoenix application.
Work throughout the stack (backend, frontend, infrastructure) on a lean engineering team.
Work with the team to build a deep understanding of our product and shape its future.
Develop in an agile environment, with an emphasis on automated testing and flexible pair programming.
Maintain stable and performant application stacks.
Consistently deliver quality code that supports business goals.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years working in a production environment, primarily experience with Elixir/Phoenix. Additional experience with Ruby/Rails is preferred.
Experience as technical lead on projects working with UX/UI design and/or product management.
Understanding of data structures, TDD, and software engineering design patterns and principles.
Production experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, etc)
Must reside in the U.S.

Nice to have:

Delight in learning.
Experience building full stack applications in Ruby on Rails.
Proficient in multiple other languages (javascript, python, SQL, etc).
Exposure to healthcare technologies.
Front end expertise in a modern javascript framework (React, Angular, Ember, etc).

Base Salary:

Senior II: $180-210K

Staff: $200-230K
