Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist (Contract) to work with the Partner Marketing team and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.

Key Responsibilities & Strategic Impact
- Financial Stewardship & Investment Governance
- Budget Integrity (Allocadia): Manage the overall budget, support the data entry into Allocadia, ensuring that tactical spend aligns with overarching strategic priorities with partners. or real-time market shifts.
- MDF Lifecycle Management: Serve as the primary arbiter for MDF North America activities. You will evaluate the validity of claims and proofs-of-performance (POP), applying nuanced judgment to ensure compliance that automated systems miss.
- Procurement Diplomacy (Ariba/MDF Tool): Orchestrate the complex onboarding of new vendors. You will navigate the "gray areas" of vendor setup, troubleshooting unique partner constraints to ensure seamless financial integration.
- Legal & Contractual Orchestration
- Agile Contract Management (Ironclad/DocuSign): Support the partner marketing team on all of their contracts - from approval lifecycle, identifying bottlenecks and translating legal requirements into actionable next steps.
- Vendor Relations: Manage sensitive administrative relationships and platforms (Thnks, MTO), ensuring that partner incentives and swag operations reflect the brand’s premium standard.
- High-Fidelity Data & Lead Governance
- Lead Intelligence & Integrity: You’ll support lead list management and tracking, ensuring that every lead is accurately mapped to its specific MDF Campaign ID to preserve ROI attribution.
- Ecosystem Communication: Maintain partner marketing content on the Ecosystem Marketing Loop page.
- Experiential Operations
- Event Infrastructure: Lead the rollout and management of the MTO self-service site. You will exercise discretionary authority in approving and tracking marketing orders, ensuring that high-value events are prioritized and supported during critical sales cycles.
Specific Daily Tasks
Enters activities of approved marketing planning budget into Allocadia
- Adjusts budget updates and deadlines w/in Allocadia
- Updates and manages partner mktg activities w/in central calendar
- Opens PRs in Ariba or requests Partners to raise activity in MDF Tool
- Supports process to onboard new partners into Ariba and into MDF Tool
- Supports team on contract reviews and approvals w/in Ironclad /legal
- Tracks MDF activity status, claims and is first line approver for MDF NAM activities
- Manages Vendor Funding POP and deadlines - tracks reimbursements
- Orders MTO SWAG/ mktg supplies for Team
- Manages new MTO self service site for Sales, approving and tracking orders to support all events (coming soon)
- Transposes lead list for partners not submitting template in right format
- Manages lead list uploads for team and ensuring MDF campaign IDs in partner lead

- Handles Docusign / contract admin for team, as well as Thnks Admin
- Responsible for updates to Ecosystem Marketing Loop Page
Your Experience
- 5+ years of Marketing Operations and excel/data entry experience
- Track and report on key metrics related to list uploads
- Analyze, format, and update Excel spreadsheets/Google sheet to ensure accurate data entry into marketing systems within established SLAs
- Verify accurate and complete information provided from the marketing team and follow up on incomplete submissions
- Experience working in Salesforce and lead management and help with tracking pipeline
- Advanced competency on Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets to analyze and format data
- History of using Excel formulas and macros to create streamlined data formatting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful in handling ambiguous situations or requests
- Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer,this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $45/hour to $50/hour. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits. Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
