Role Description

This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Marketing Data and Operations Specialist (Contractor) to work with the Marketing Operations Team and it's a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.

Role

As a Marketing Data and Operations Specialist (Contractor) you will directly and visibly contribute to our overall success and daily operations within the Marketing Operations Team and will report to the Sr. Manager of MarTech Platforms and Integrations. In this role, you will:

• Oversee and manage the list upload team, including workflow prioritization, tasks management, and ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
• Manage the end-to-end list upload process, including data validation, coordination with internal stakeholders, and executing uploads to marketing systems.
• Ensure data quality and system accuracy by analyzing and formatting data, uploading to Marketo, and performing post-upload QA checks in both Marketo and Salesforce.

Your Impact

• Oversee agency resources/list upload team and help to manage their workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure they meet all service level agreements (SLAs)
• Manage the entire list upload process, including receiving requests from internal stakeholders via Jira, validating data for accuracy and completeness, and coordinating with the agency for execution
• Track and report on key metrics related to list uploads, agency performance, and database health
• Analyze, format, and update Excel spreadsheets to ensure accurate data entry into marketing systems within established SLAs
• Verify accurate and complete information provided from the marketing team and follow up on incomplete submissions
• Communicate and track tickets and requests in Jira and Asana
• Upload cleaned/formatted data to Marketo
• QA data entry in both Marketo and Salesforce post upload to ensure data accuracy
• Work closely with marketing managers and operations teams to streamline processes
• Support the MarTech team with on-off projects within Marketo to increase efficiency and performance of the system (landing page and smart campaign deactivation, etc)

Your Experience

• 5+ years on a B2B Marketing team, experience managing an agency or external vendors is highly preferred.
• 3 + years of experience with SalesForce and Marketo required (Eloqua, Hubspot also acceptable)
• 5+ years of excel/data entry experience
• Advanced competency on Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets to analyze and format data
• History of using Excel formulas and macros to create streamlined data formatting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful in handling ambiguous situations or requests
• Experience with traditional and Agile project management methods such as SCRUM.
• Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $45/hour to $49/hour. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits. Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
