Staff Software Engineer (Full-Stack & Dev-Infra)

We are hiring! Help us drag Brazil’s civil-engineering workflows out of old banking rails, legacy spreadsheets and brittle ERP integrations.

Why this role exists

The civil-engineering market still runs on old banking rails, excel trackers, legacy ERPs and hand-rolled integrations. Our team is small, bright and fast; we need one more technical polyglot who can design, ship and operate everything from React UIs to Terraform modules—and coach juniors while doing it.

What you’ll do

Architect & build full-stack features

• React / Next.js front ends
• Node (TypeScript) & Python services
• Event-driven & serverless workloads on AWS + GCP

Treat infrastructure as product

• Terraform & Pulumi modules, CI/CD, observability, cost tuning

Level up the squad

• Pair with juniors, run design reviews, turn fuzzy ideas into actionable backlogs

Lead by shipping

• Prototype in a day, harden in a week, automate in a month

Shape strategy

• Your code influences roadmap, culture and hiring.

Must-haves

• 6+ years building production software, including ≥ 2 years in high-growth startups or scale-ups
• Fluency in TypeScript (Node & React) and solid Python chops
• Hands-on ownership of IaC (Terraform or Pulumi) plus AWS and/or GCP architecture
• Proven record mentoring or leading small engineering pods
• Bias for action: you unblock yourself, push POCs to prod and chase root causes—never symptoms

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to data-heavy or construction-tech products
• Design-system / Storybook experience
• Familiarity with ECS, Kubernetes, event streaming, distributed complex systems or temporal workflows
• OSS contributions or technical blogging—show us how you think
• Experience implementing robust observability in distributed systems

Liderar entregando

• Prototipar em um dia, aprimorar em uma semana, automatizar em um mês

Influenciar estratégia

• Seu código molda roadmap, cultura e contratações.

Pré-requisitos

• 6+ anos construindo software em produção, com ≥ 2 anos em startups ou scale-ups de alto crescimento
• Fluência em TypeScript (Node & React) e domínio sólido de Python
• Propriedade prática de IaC (Terraform ou Pulumi) e arquitetura AWS e/ou GCP
• Histórico comprovado mentorando ou liderando pequenos squads de engenharia
• Viés para ação: você se desbloqueia, leva POCs para produção e ataca causas-raiz, não sintomas

Diferenciais

• Experiência com produtos data-heavy ou construtech
• Vivência com design systems / Storybook
• Familiaridade com ECS, Kubernetes, event streaming, sistemas distribuídos complexos ou workflows temporais
• Contribuições OSS ou blogging técnico — mostre como você pensa
• Experiência com implementação de observabilidade robusta em sistemas distribuídos
