We’re a growth-focused digital marketing agency seeking a revenue-driven Sales Manager to convert qualified opportunities into signed retainers and projects. This role owns the mid-to-bottom of the funnel, accelerates deal velocity, and ensures a clean handover of won business to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own new revenue: hit and exceed monthly/quarterly booking targets.
- Engage active leads promptly, run high-impact sales conversations, and advance opportunities to close.
- Develop clear proposals and statements of work aligned to client goals and budget.
- Present solutions, handle objections, negotiate terms, and secure signatures and initial payments.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, stage progression, and forecasting; report win/loss insights.
- Coordinate a professional handover of closed-won deals to delivery with agreed scope, timelines, and expectations.
- Provide feedback to marketing/lead-gen on opportunity quality and messaging to improve conversion.
- Represent the agency with executive presence in calls, demos, and written communications.
- Accept and prioritize qualified leads from bidders/lead-gen; confirm ICP fit and budget.
- Run structured discovery to uncover goals, current challenges, decision criteria, timeline, and budget (MEDDIC/BANT-style).
- Prepare tailored proposals/scope for SEO, Paid Ads, SMM, content, and CRO packages.
Requirements
Non-Negotiable:
Proven experience working at a digital marketing agency with a track record of closing agency projects and monthly retainers.
Qualifications:
- Consistent quota attainment in B2B services sales; strong closer focused on results.
- Advanced skills in discovery, solution framing, proposal creation, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; confident leading senior stakeholder conversations.
- Strong pipeline discipline and forecasting accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize effectively, and move with urgency.
- Familiarity with common digital marketing offerings (SEO, paid media, social, content, CRO).
- Experience selling both fixed-scope projects and ongoing retainers.
- Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
