We are looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer to contribute to the development of scalable web applications, enhance system performance, and ensure a seamless user experience. This role bridges technical architecture, backend system performance, and user-centric feature development, making it ideal for a developer with a balanced technical and product focus.

🟠 About the rolePrimary Responsibilities

• Product-Focused Feature Development & User ExperienceDevelop user-friendly, scalable web applications using SvelteKit and TypeScript.
• Implement responsive front-end features that align with the product roadmap and user needs.
• Work closely with the Product Manager to refine features and iterate based on user feedback.
• Ensure accessibility and usability best practices are followed in UI/UX implementation.
• Backend Development & System OptimizationDesign, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases with efficient queries and indexing strategies.
• Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and RBAC.
• Technical Infrastructure & Performance TuningManage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Lead efforts in performance tuning and scalability improvements for growing user demand.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Code Quality & Team CollaborationParticipate in code reviews to maintain best practices and system security.
• Establish and document coding standards for error handling, input validation, and security.
• Work with junior developers, providing mentorship and guidance on technical best practices.
• Security, Testing, and Deployment AutomationEnsure application security by implementing secure coding practices and penetration testing.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with the Ops team to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• English level: B2, we are an international team and all the meeting and communication are in English
• Frontend: SvelteKit, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), TailwindCSS, Component-based architecture.
• Backend: Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL (Kysely).
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (EC2, ECS, S3), Docker, Nix, GitHub Actions.
• Testing & Security: Vitest, Playwirght, OWASP Secure Coding, CI/CD pipelines.
• API Development: RESTful APIs, WebSockets.
• Infrastructure & Deployment: Experience with multi-tenant architectures and AWS performance tuning.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Experience Required:

• 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Previous experience working with scalable and distributed applications.
• Hands-on experience with performance optimization and system architecture.
• Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring solutions.

🕰 Contract: Full-time

💸 Salary: €35,000-40.000

📍 Location: Fully remote

Contract

• Working hours: full time
• Contract term: Indefinite contract.
• We have set a Performance Review System that applies to 50% of the RAL as a bonus but there is no cap. It means that if a person over-performs 100% and/or the company does so, bonuses will be linked to the over-performance.
