Purpose and Position Summary

In your role as a Marketing Communications (marcom) Strategist at Pace Creative, you will be instrumental in developing documented, tailored product launch strategies through comprehensive market research and data gathering, enabling our clients to stand out and gain market share. In your role, you will drive the development of unique strategies, assemble the implementation plan, and oversee execution to ensure success. While aligning the overall product launch strategy, you will lead a small in-house team in creating and delivering highly effective integrated outbound and inbound marketing assets and events that support integrated demand generation campaigns and sales activities targeting B2B clients across various industries.

The ideal candidate will create strategic marcom reports to present to the senior leadership team or board of directors and will need to incorporate input from leaders and key functional areas. Therefore, this role requires the ability to see the bigger picture, contribute to planning and reviews with the executive team, understand and proactively communicate marketing plans to clients, communicate project status, and identify, educate, and report on KPIs to achieve our clients' business objectives. An overall understanding of marketing channels, combined with expertise in integrated demand-generation campaigns and user-centric marketing assets, is the key to success.

  • Meet and exceed clients' expectations when it comes to their overall marketing by creating strategic materials such as:

- Product launch strategies

- Marketing plans

- Communication plans

- Content marketing strategies

- Sales playbooks

- Website content

- Ad content for LinkedIn, AdRoll, and Meta

- SEO-optimized assets

- Infographics

- e-Books

- Social media

- Presentations

  • Ability to take highly detailed and key information from a variety of sources and departments and translate it into compelling and strategic presentations.
  • Ability to structure the story at the executive level and craft it visually.
  • Ability to conduct audits on marcom assets to provide strategic recommendations to meet specific goals and business needs.
  • Ability to lead primary research to inform client strategies and content, and find secondary research to support recommendations.
  • Ability to collaborate with and support the planning and flawless execution of the marketing strategy across Content, Digital Marketing, Design, Development, and Project Management teams.
  • Ability to innovate when learning and educating others with ever-changing best practices by:

- Researching best practices and how they work best for Pace Creative and the clients we serve.

- Educating other team members as needed to avoid confusion or ensure we exceed industry standards.

  • Ability to demonstrate superior writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, particularly in how to take strategic concepts and design them into compelling assets that are easily understood and drive discussion.
  • Capacity to prioritize and manage a high volume of projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Provide client-focused support by:

- Attending client calls to understand their needs for further customization.

- Providing advice regarding client needs and next steps.

- Assisting with estimates and educational content.

- Providing value to clients by working with the Project Management team and our Digital Marketing Manager.

- Being comfortable working with and providing counsel to VP and C-suite executives regularly.

  • Able to support Operations and Account Executives by:

- Contributing to proposals and onboarding presentations.

- Educating clients on best practices and filling knowledge gaps.

- Provide strategic counsel.

  • Able to prepare performance marketing reports to provide additional insights and recommendations to improve ROI.

-Able to interpret and integrate solutions as well as implement the solutions/changes to achieve the ultimate goal

Who you are:

As the ideal candidate, you have:

  • A business degree in marketing, communication or equivalent
  • A Minimum 8+ years in worldwide marketing communications - in any of these roles: Account Executive; Business Consultant, Strategist; MarCom Specialist; Conversion Copywriting; Demand Generation.
  • A background in sales (preferred).
  • A minimum of 4 years of successful management experience.
  • Inherent business acumen/decision-making to achieve business objectives.
  • Tools and platforms such as GA4, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Eloqua, PipeDrive, etc.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to present to boards, executives, and senior management.
  • A thorough understanding of branding, MarCom strategies, channels and tactics, B2B marketing materials and tools.
  • An ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines simultaneously
  • Solid knowledge of project management practices and techniques, and respect for process and timelines.
  • An excellent sense of user-centric design, composition and aesthetics, plus strong attention to detail.
  • An ability to be a collaborative, team player.
  • An ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient writing and communication skills that focus on the North American cadence to ensure effective client communication through strategic documents and presentations.
  • A background in sales (preferred).

Additional Information:

The ideal wage for this position is $50 per hour.
