Piping and Equipment Constructors – is seeking and Experienced Project Managers to safely manage our Industrial Projects across the US. We are a growing organization that needs people with prior Industrial Project management experience. These positions require 50-75% travel.
Roles and Responsibilities –
During estimating and proposal
· Reviews estimate for compliance with engineering requirements.
· Evaluate risks.
· Reviews estimated material pricing and Reviews estimated subcontract pricing.
Upon Award
· Initiates and holds Premobilization meetings ensuring completion of the Premobilization checklist.
· Holds contract review with leadership to establishes commercial baseline; budget, revenue and cashflow, “as sold” margin.
· Implements and conducts Risk and Change Management Program.
· Defines and distribute daily, weekly, monthly report formats.
· Initiates site specific Quality and Safety Plan.
· Participate in internal and external kickoff meetings.
· Coordinates/ Participates in Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) process with CM & Engineering staff.
In Execution
• Ensures the contract is adhered to and all changes are processed per Change Management Program guidelines.
• Ensures project stays on budget (financial reporting).
• Ensure all billings are submitted timely.
• Ensure Material and Subcontract Management are executed by the Execution Plan and procedures.
• Ensures project adheres to P&E safety standards and program as identified in the site-specific safety plan.
• Ensures the project is completed to schedule and budget
• Completes close out report and shares with management and estimating team
• Responsible for all planning and organization on Project through monitoring workload, setting goals, developing and executing action plans
• Maintains client relations
• Interact frequently with team members demonstrating care for their personal and professional development
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Expert knowledge of heavy industrial construction industry and commercial management (5-10 years of experience).
• Experience with both Union and Non-Union workforce's is preferred.
• College Degree is required.
• PMP would be preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Mastery of PM tools (Primavera P6, COINS, Procore, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Physical Requirements
• Able to work in office desk setting and construction site
• Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching
• Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
• Able to lift to 15 pounds at times
