Senior Angular Engineer (Remote, Europe)

Full-time | Remote

We’re looking for a senior front-end engineer with strong Angular experience to help build cutting-edge, map-based web applications for climate and ESG risk analysis. You'll play a key role in developing high-impact features and contributing to the architecture and scalability of a geospatial platform.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain performant, user-friendly front-end features using Angular
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product teams to deliver interactive geospatial experiences
• Integrate libraries and APIs such as Mapbox, PostGIS, and Leaflet
• Support the architecture of scalable, testable, and maintainable software systems
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and best practices

Must-have experience

• 5+ years as a software engineer, with a focus on front-end development with in Angular
• Expert in Angular and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, performance, and testing
• Familiarity with REST APIs and handling geospatial data formats like GeoJSON

Nice to have

• Experience with geospatial libraries (e.g., Mapbox GL JS, Leaflet, OpenLayers)
• Backend experience (Python, FastAPI)
• PostgreSQL + PostGIS experience
• Experience with tiler servers (e.g., TiTiler), data pipelines, or GCP (especially BigQuery)
• Background in map-heavy platforms or climate/sustainability-related work
