About the role:
As a .NET Software Engineer, you’ll join a dynamic team dedicated to designing and developing cutting-edge features, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing continuous integration and deployment processes. Your contributions will drive the creation of innovative OTT streaming solutions, websites, apps, and live broadcast systems, delivering seamless experiences to millions of concurrent users.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the engineering team to create and implement platform features, following SCRUM/Agile practices and sprint-based development.
- Optimize and sustain codebases for performance and scalability, using GitHub for seamless version control and teamwork.
- Identify and fix technical challenges with creative, effective solutions.
- Lead key development tasks in a continuous integration and deployment pipeline.
- Work with cloud infrastructure, utilizing a mix of services, containers, and virtual machines.
- Participate in code reviews, integrate cutting-edge .NET technologies, and enhance engineering standards while embracing Agile principles.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of expertise in .NET 8/.NET Framework development.
- Proficient in designing and building REST APIs using Web API.
- Experience with modern communication technologies like gRPC and Apache Kafka
- Extensive experience with multithreading and parallelization techniques.
- Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases, with hands-on MongoDB experience.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, preferably MS SQL.
- Practical experience with cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS.
- Previous experience with streaming protocols (e.g., DASH/HLS), video encoding (e.g., AWS Elemental Media Services) or video processing libraries (e.g., ffmpeg) is a plus
