As a Lead .NET Software Engineer, you’ll spearhead a dynamic team in designing and delivering innovative, high-impact OTT streaming solutions, websites, apps, and live broadcast systems that serve millions of concurrent users. You’ll drive the technical vision, mentor engineers, and oversee the development of cutting-edge features, while ensuring robust performance, scalability, and seamless continuous integration and deployment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering team in architecting, developing, and implementing platform features, adhering to SCRUM/Agile methodologies and sprint-based workflows.
- Oversee and guide the team in managing a continuous integration and deployment pipeline, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Mentor team members through in-depth code reviews, champion the adoption of modern .NET technologies, and elevate engineering standards while fostering an Agile culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and stakeholders, to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Drive technical roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure alignment with long-term platform goals.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of expertise in .NET 8/.NET Framework development, with a proven track record of leading complex, high-scale projects.
- Advanced proficiency in designing and optimizing REST APIs using Web API, with a focus on performance and security.
- Extensive hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, and proficiency in designing scalable data architectures.
- Advanced understanding of SQL and relational databases, with strong experience in MS SQL or similar systems.
- Proven expertise in cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS, and a track record of leading cloud-based infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience with streaming protocols (e.g., DASH/HLS), video encoding (e.g., AWS Elemental Media Services), or video processing libraries (e.g., ffmpeg) is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
