Ovyo is an professional services company specializing in the satellite, telecommunications, media, and broadcasting, transportation and many more sectors. Our management team is located in the UK and Portugal and we have technical teams based across Europe and India.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable Power BI data models using DAX and best practices for reporting and analytics
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric, ingesting data into OneLake and SQL destinations
• Develop and deploy predictive models using Python and Azure ML, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to identify use cases
• Oversee and administer Power BI environments, including managing Gateways, Fabric capacities, and implementing governance policies for secure and efficient data usage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, scalability, and optimal performance across the data stack.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in Power BI, including complex data modeling, DAX, and report/dashboard development
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with OneLake, SQL databases, and data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning for predictive analytics
• Deep understanding of Power BI administration, including Gateways, capacity management, and governance best practices
• Microsoft certifications preferred: PL‑300 (Power BI Data Analyst), DP‑203 (Data Engineering on Azure), DP‑100 (Azure Data Scientist Associate)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
