UAV Software Engineer

On behalf of a key client, OTM is supporting the hiring to join an ambitious, innovation-driven project in the autonomous drone domain.

Our client is developing next-generation UAV systems that blend AI, automation, and robust mission execution. We’re searching for an who has hands-on experience with DJI platforms and a passion for building high-impact autonomous solutions.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software for DJI Dock and Matrice 300/350/4 Series drones.
• Work directly with DJI MSDK, Cloud API, and FlightHub 2 API to build reliable mission flows.
• Implement REST API integrations using Python or C++.
• Build, improve, and troubleshoot autonomous flight logic, including GNSS/RTK, geofencing, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the client’s AI and engineering teams to support on-device intelligence and edge processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with YOLO, TensorRT, OpenCV, or similar CV frameworks.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson or other edge-AI compute platforms.
• Background in building autonomous patrol or surveillance systems.

Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of hands-on UAV software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of DJI ecosystems and autonomous workflows.
• Comfortable with remote collaboration and fast-paced development cycles.
