Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our offshore agency team, with a primary focus on email marketing and customer retention. In this role, you will own the day-to-day execution of our Klaviyo email and SMS programs across a portfolio of premium automotive aftermarket brands, building and optimising the campaigns and automated flows that drive repeat purchase, customer lifetime value, and revenue.
Working closely with the Digital Marketing and E-commerce Manager, you will pair this email-led focus with hands-on management of our Shopify storefronts — ensuring the two ecosystems work together seamlessly, from list growth and segmentation through to landing pages and on-site conversion. While a foundational understanding of SEO and paid media is beneficial, the core of this role is lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, and operational excellence within Klaviyo and Shopify.
Key Responsibilities
_Email & SMS Marketing (Klaviyo) — Primary Focus
_You will plan, build, and deploy email and SMS campaigns end to end within Klaviyo, including newsletters, product launches, and promotional sends aligned to the marketing calendar. You will design, build, and continuously optimise automated flows — including welcome series, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, and replenishment journeys. A key part of the role is developing and maintaining segmentation strategies based on customer behaviour, purchase history, and engagement, and running A/B tests on subject lines, creative, send times, and offers to improve open, click, and conversion rates. You will also monitor list health and deliverability, managing sender reputation, suppression, and compliance with anti-spamregulations.
_Shopify Platform Management & Optimisation
_You will manage day-to-day operations across multiple Shopify storefronts, ensuring high
performance, stability, and alignment with premium brand positioning. This includes executing website updates such as homepage refreshes, promotional banners, landing page creation, and blog post publishing — with a particular focus on building landing pages and on-site capture points that support email and SMS campaigns. You will manage list-growth mechanisms such as signup forms, pop-ups, and lead-capture incentives, and ensure the Klaviyo-Shopify integration is configured correctly so customer and order data flows reliably between platforms. Supporting the configuration of Shopify apps and third-party integrations is also required.
_Lifecycle, Retention & Reporting
_You will own the reporting and continuous improvement of the email and SMS program, tracking KPIs such as revenue per recipient, flow performance, campaign engagement, list growth, and overall contribution to revenue. Using Klaviyo analytics, Google Analytics, and Shopify analytics, you will prepare regular performance reports with clear, actionable insights and recommendations. You will identify retention and lifecycle opportunities across the customer journey and translate data into tangible improvements to flows, segments, and campaign strategy.
_Campaign Coordination & Brand Alignment
_You will coordinate the digital execution of marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and on-sitechannels, ensuring alignment with broader commercial objectives and brand guidelines. You will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and the broader marketing team to ensure assets are on-brand, on-time, and consistent across every touchpoint and brand in the portfolio.
_Supporting Tasks (Beneficial, Not Primary)
_A working knowledge of SEO best practices and product data structures (taxonomies, GTINs, product feeds) is advantageous, as you will occasionally support broader e-commerce initiatives that intersect with the email and on-site work.
Qualifications And Experience
The ideal candidate will possess proven, hands-on experience building and optimising email and SMS programs in Klaviyo, including campaigns, automated flows, and segmentation. You should demonstrate a track record of using lifecycle and retention marketing to drive measurable revenue and customer lifetime value. Solid experience managing and optimising Shopify stores is required, along with a strong understanding of how Klaviyo and Shopify integrate. Strong analytical skills are necessary to interpret data across Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and Shopify,and translate findings into strategic action. Familiarity with HTML/CSS is advantageous for email template adjustments and minor site formatting. Prior experience or a strong interest in
the automotive aftermarket, B2B/B2C e-commerce, or technically complex product categories is highly desirable.
