AWS Engineer (Homebased)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior AWS Engineer with advanced Java and API integration expertise to lead the design and implementation of strategic API solutions. The role requires close collaboration with the Project Manager, ERP Support Team, Operations Team, and stakeholders to architect and maintain scalable, reliable integrations between our ERP system and multiple third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex API integrations using Java and AWS services
• Analyze ERP connection points and translate them into scalable integration solutions
• Ensure integrations adhere to performance, security, and reliability standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align integrations with business objectives
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing integrations and cloud infrastructure 
• Document integration architecture, processes, and best practices
• Provide strategic input for future integration and system improvement initiatives

Required Skills / Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch)
• Strong Java development background with API integration expertise
• Proven experience integrating ERP systems with third-party applications
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and authentication methods
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring team members
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong Java development background with API integration expertise ETL and ELT
• Deep understanding of RESTful and SOP APIs and authentication methods

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile or project-based environments
• Exposure to enterprise-scale operational systems and integrations
