Job Title: Look and Signage Designer – Sporting Event Venues

We are seeking creative and detail-oriented Look and Signage Designer/s to join our team to support with a major sporting event. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and wayfinding experience across all event venues. Your work will ensure that athletes, spectators, and staff are immersed in a cohesive, engaging, and functional environment that reflects the spirit of the event.

Key Responsibilities

Venue Look & Feel: Develop and implement visual concepts that define the overall look and atmosphere of each venue, aligning with the event’s branding guidelines and sponsor requirements.

Signage Design: Design a comprehensive suite of signage (directional, informational, regulatory, branding, etc.) for all venues, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and visual impact.

Wayfinding Systems: Create intuitive wayfinding solutions to guide attendees seamlessly throughout the venues, considering diverse user needs (e.g., accessibility, language).

Collaboration: Work closely with event organizers, architects, production teams, and branding agencies to ensure cohesive integration of look and signage elements.

Production Oversight: Prepare detailed production files, specifications, and installation guidelines. Liaise with fabricators and installers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• Proven experience in signage, wayfinding, or environmental graphics—preferably for large-scale events or public spaces.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and practical design solutions.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CAD or 3D visualization tools.
• Excellent understanding of branding, accessibility standards, and universal design principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with sporting events, festivals, or exhibitions is desirable
